Candlelight: Candle Charts — Support

Ambient charts, your way.

Candlelight turns a locally simulated candlestick market into a calm, customizable atmosphere on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. All charts are simulated — Candlelight is an ambient visual app, not a trading tool or a source of live market prices.

Getting started

• Tap (or click) the candle view to open Settings. On iPhone/iPad, settings appear in a sheet.
• Adjust playback speed, market direction, volatility, and candle density.
• Try the Quiet hours, Balanced, Bull run, or Sell-off presets as starting points.
• Choose solid, hollow, or OHLC candles and customize their colors; add grid lines, synthetic volume, a moving average, and glow.
• Turn on Candles only to hide all text for a clean view; tap to bring settings back.

Wallpaper export (iPhone & iPad)

Use Export wallpaper image to create a still PNG and open the system share sheet. Save it, then set it manually under Settings → Wallpaper. This version exports a static image; it does not export Live Photos or replace the animated system wallpaper. Your device may still show its own clock, icons, and controls over a wallpaper.

Desktop mode (Mac)

Use Use as desktop wallpaper to place click-through, desktop-level candle windows behind your icons and app windows. Desktop animation requires Candlelight to keep running. Choose Stop desktop wallpaper to remove them. It does not replace the secure macOS login screen or install a System Settings screen-saver module.

Login startup (Mac)

The optional Start wallpaper at login uses Apple's ServiceManagement. macOS may ask you to approve it in System Settings → General → Login Items. You can disable it there or in the app at any time.

Privacy & permissions

Candlelight has no account, ads, analytics, or network market feed, and does not collect personal data. See the full Privacy Policy. Saving an exported image may request Apple's add-to-Photos permission; the app does not read your photo library.

Frequently asked

• Is this real market data? No. All prices and volume are synthetic and fictional (CL/USD is made up). It is purely decorative.
• Are there in-app purchases? No. Candlelight is a one-time paid app with every feature unlocked after install.
• The animation is paused. If Reduce Motion is on, animation starts paused — enable the Animation toggle in Settings.
