Candlelight generates decorative candlestick charts on your device. The charts are simulated and are not a market-data or trading service.
Candlelight does not send personal information, chart settings, usage events, or device identifiers to its developer. It has no account system, advertising, analytics SDK, tracking, or network market feed.
Your color and animation preferences and the Mac desktop-wallpaper enabled state are stored locally using Apple's UserDefaults. They are used only to operate the app. The app does not read other apps' preferences.
On iPhone and iPad, Candlelight creates a wallpaper image in the app's temporary storage and opens Apple's share sheet. The image contains generated chart graphics, not personal photos. You choose whether to save or share it. Candlelight does not read your photo library. If you save an image to Photos, Apple's Photos and iCloud settings determine where that copy is stored.
The optional Start wallpaper at login control uses Apple's ServiceManagement system. It does not send information to the developer. You can disable it in the app or in macOS Login Items settings.
App Store purchases, device backups, operating-system diagnostics, and any destination you choose in the share sheet are handled by Apple or the selected service under their own policies. Candlelight does not embed third-party tracking or advertising services.
If you contact the developer using the support contact on the App Store listing, the developer receives the information you voluntarily include and uses it to respond. Do not include sensitive information unless necessary for your request. You can reach us at support@maxxsoftware.com.
