The short version: Digital Rain does not collect your data. Digital Rain is a customizable Matrix-style digital-rain visualizer and screensaver. It has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising trackers. Your settings stay on your device, and nothing you do in the app is transmitted to us or to third parties.
Digital Rain asks for permission to add to your Photos library only when you tap “Save Live Wallpaper.” That feature renders your current rain look into a Live Photo and saves it to your own photo library so you can set it as your Lock Screen wallpaper. The app does not read, browse, upload, or transmit any of your photos — it only adds the one item you asked it to create, on your device. You can decline this permission and still use every other part of the app.
Digital Rain is a one-time paid app sold through the Apple App Store. Payment is processed entirely by Apple under its privacy policy; we do not receive or store your name, payment details, or any other billing information.
Digital Rain is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no data from any user, it collects no data from children.
Your preferences live on your device, so you are always in control. Uninstalling the app removes them. Any Live Photo you chose to save lives in your own Photos library and can be deleted there at any time.
If a future version of Digital Rain ever changes these practices (for example, by adding online accounts or analytics), we will update this policy first and reflect the change in the app’s App Store privacy label.
